I believe that God has called me to love my family and my home, and to be a diligent, intentional, and skilled worker there. Â And, I want to raise my daughter to do the same.
.
Homemaker. Â While some may see this term as old fashioned, or even demeaning, I love it, and all that it conveys! Â Because, it means that it is both my responsibility and privilege to care for my family by creating a warm and welcoming place of refuge, retreat, and rest for them. Â And, it is my goal, each day, to delight in this God-given sphere of ministry and influence.
.
This is why I am honored to have been chosen as one of the new contributors for Raising Homemakers!

I share this with you, not because I have perfected this area of my life, but precisely because I still have much to learn! Â If you are a homemaker, and/or striving raise one, you will find encouragement and inspiration from this wonderful team of ladies! Â And, if you look at the list of contributors, their previous posts, and their personal blogs, you will see why I am so excited to be a part of this team!
I Love your blog! I had to say that, and so agree with everything you have written. i believe there is an urgency out there, of Moms who need to be more at home! My heart is greatly burdened about this, and we are letting our families down when we do not approach life the Biblical way. God tells us in His word we are to be keepers at home. It doesn’t get much plainer that that!
I believe it is such an awesome privilege to have 4 children, and raise them to serve our wonderful Savior. I believe it is God’s plan for all Christian families, and we are missing the mark.
I am going to pray more about this, that women around the world will be more serious to stay home, and take care of their responsibilities, and raise their children like they ought to. I cherish these moments so much, and love being a stay-at-home Mommy. I wouldn’t trade it for the world!
Thank you again for your uplifting words of encouragement. It was a blessing to read your post here. God bless you!
