Give Thanks – 15: Our Church Family

(This picture is from our Church Family Picnic, back in March!
I need to get a few new pictures!)

Tonight we had the privilege of spending some time in prayer for our church, its families and ministries, and the community.  It was a sweet time of fellowship, and coming before the Lord with wonderful friends and partners in ministry.

I am so thankful for our church – and everyone who is a part of it, but especially for these families: our pastors (of course, I am biased, one of them is my husband!), our elder, and the founding families of Way of Grace.  They each have a heart for the Lord, unique gifts and abilities, and a passion for the ministries of our little church.  I am so thankful for each one of them!

And, as we are quickly approaching our one-year anniversary as a part of this body, I am so thankful that the Lord has brought us here.  This is our first year in “full-time” ministry, and they have already taught us so much – they have welcomed us, challenged us, strengthened our convictions, encouraged us, taught us, and blessed us in so many ways!  I am looking forward to another year of ministry with and to this family of believers.

(What are you thankful for today?  Hop on over to Rebecca Writes, and share what you are thankful for this month!)
