The BIG Sister!
The Little BIG Brother!!
And BABY Makes Three!!!
Baby #3 is due to join our family sometime on, or around,
October 7th, 2013!!
*********
I am (almost) 10 weeks, and generally feeling pretty good. Around the 6 week mark, I was put on bedrest…and, that is pretty much where I have stayed for the better part of the last 4 weeks. No, it hasn’t been easy…and, yes, I would much rather be up teaching and playing with my children, and caring for my home… But, we have been so well-cared for by our church and family over these past few weeks. We have been so blessed and encouraged by the friends and grandparents who have jumped in to help take care of Hannah and Titus, and we are so thankful for the many (many!) friends who have provided meals. We have been very well-fed!
2 ultrasounds have shown that baby is growing well, and has a strong heartbeat. (Isn’t that just one of the best sounds ever?!)
Hannah is thrilled to be a big sister again. She is constantly checking on me – and the baby – making sure we are okay, comfortable, and have everything we could possibly need. And, she loves to talk to the baby… It is so sweet to hear “I love you, baby!” throughout the day. Titus, on the other hand, really has no clue what this is all about…but he does like to point to my tummy, and say “Baby!” (But, he often does this to his daddy too, so…)
We would appreciate your prayers for this pregnancy…that this little one would continue to grow strong and healthy, and that, Lord-willing, I would be able to go back to being wife and mommy…soon.
Congratulations! Praying as you continue on bed rest.
Thank you, Dell! I really appreciate your prayers.
I can’t even imagine bedrest with two littles! But I’m sooo excited for you guys and your new little! Praise the Lord for a growing family and baby! 🙂
Blessings,
Babychaser
Thanks, Babychaser! The bedrest isn’t exactly easy…but I am even more convinced that I am married to Super-Daddy!! 🙂 He has been amazing!! 🙂
Awww, congratulations! THREE’S A CHARM… that was my motto before my 4th was born – LOL. 🙂 You take care and try not to go crazy while you’re on bed rest. I couldn’t imagine, but it is definitely for the best. After your little one is born, you’ll be wishing for some of these days back!
Thank you, Jolene! 🙂 I am trying to be thankful for the rest…while I can get it. I was joking that I am making up for all the sleep/rest I’ve missed this past year!! 🙂 But, maybe I should say I’m storing it up for when this little one arrives! 🙂
Congratulations Veronica!! I am not sure if you remember but our baby boys were born on the same day =) And now you are expecting your 3rd in October and we will be expecting our 2nd in October, although it will be mid month!! But still too crazy. Even though I don’t know you and your husband personally I am happy that the Lord is blessing us both with growing families!
I was just thinking about that on Titus’ 1st birthday! Congratulations on your new little one too, Kayla!! (Wouldn’t it be funny if these two share a birthday too!?!)
yes it would =) if you were late and i was early there is a possibility!
True…although I think I’d have to go later than one day this time. With my two, I’ve been in the hospital on my due date, and both of them were born the next day! Kind of hoping this one keeps up that tradition…just for fun. 🙂
Yes little things like that are fun to keep going in the line of kiddos =) We are figuring that out with names for our kids now. Our son has a family & biblical name so we would like to do keep that tradition for the rest now =)
I am so happy and excited for you. Bedrest has got to be hard. I will be praying for you.
Thank you Jessi! Our friends and family are making it as easy as possible…but it is still hard. 🙂 Especially because I like to keep busy. 🙂
Congratulations! Glad I check in with people on occasion. (Despite not having google reader!) Will pray everything goes well.
