10 Years Ago Today…

…I married my best friend.

.

We made a commitment before God and to each other, “for better, or for worse.”

.

In other words, for life.

.

No, it has not been perfect.  But it has been good.

.

And, over the past 10 years, I have only grown to love and respect him more.

.

I am so thankful for a man who loves the Lord far more than he loves me (which means he loves me very well!)  He is called and committed to serve the Lord as a pastor…but he is unwilling to sacrifice his family on the altar of ministry.  Over the years, he has made it clear to me, and to our daughter, that we – his family – are his most important ministry.

.

I know I don’t deserve him…but I am so glad that he picked me!
