When I was a little girl, and I imagined my grown-up life, I always pictured myself as a mom…
…with lots of little ones.
But, life doesn’t always turn out exactly the way you imagine….
.I am not the mom of many.
But…
I am mommy to one….
This one.
It may not be the picture I saw in those childhood dreams….
But, this isn’t the land of make-believe.
This is real.
And…it is far better than any dream!

I love you, Hannah!
It is a blessing, a privilege, and a joy to be your mommy!!
I, too, have just one child – a beautiful daughter. Sometimes I don’t understand why God ordained that she be an only child…but I am blessed beyond measure to be her mother.
Happy belated Mother’s Day!
Thank you so much. Although I have 2 children instead of one your post spoke to my heart today. I was struggling with this in my emotions and I have a feeling that’s why I came across your post. I need to remember that God has a perfect plan for my family.
I’m visiting from m2mblogroll, where you were featured! My family doesn’t look anything like I’d imagined once upon a time, either. We are currently waiting, waiting, waiting on an international adoption; thanks for the reminder that God is in control and He is GOOD.
What a beautiful blog and a beautiful little girl =) So good to see another Christ-centered blog…Have a blessed weekend! Tamara @ God’s Perfect Promises
Hope you enjoyed a wonderful Mother’s Day!
Thank you Lisa! I did!! 🙂 It was a wonderful day!
This post is a beautiful real-life picture of the quote at the top of your blog (which I love)….
