Giving Thanks

I hope to fill in a few of the gaps in the not-too-distant future…
But for now…I have much to be thankful for!

An abundance of helping hands (slave labor) in the packing process
Paper plates
Bubble wrap

Children’s Choirs

A mother-in-law who packed my entire kitchen…

…so I didn’t have to!

Stacks, and stacks, and stacks of (full!) boxes…

Celebrating Christmas amidst the boxes…
…with Grammy and Grampy!

U-haul trucks
Strong friends who gave of their time to help load the moving truck.
Dinner and fellowship with sweet friends.
Saying good-bye…and longing for fhe time when that will be unnecessary.
Travel mercies… (3 states in 3 days!)
A 5-year-old who was a star traveler!!
Bendaroos!
And portable DVD players.
Good company and good conversation on the drive.

Arriving in Texas!!
New friends – ready and willing to help unload a (very full) moving van…in record time!
A new church family to get to know and grow to love.
A warm welcome.
Bricks.
Trees.
Grass.
Christmas number 3!
Cold weather!
A cozy fire in the fireplace.
Hot coffee.
Slowly turning a new house into “our home.”
