A departure from my usual Wordless Wednesdays.Â
But, this picture from last night’s lightning storm perfectly captured this morning’s passage from Jeremiah:
.
.
What a vivid reminder that we serve the true, living, and powerful Creator!
.
But the Lord is the true God;
he is the living God
and the everlasting King.
At his wrath the earth quakes,
and the nations cannot endure his indignation.
Thus shall you say to them:
“The gods who did not make the heavens and the earth
shall perish from the earth and from under the heavens.â€
It is he who made the earth by his power,
who established the world by his wisdom,
and by his understanding stretched out the heavens.
When he utters his voice,
there is a tumult of waters in the heavens,
and he makes the mist rise from the ends of the earth.
He makes lightning for the rain,
and he brings forth the wind from his storehouses.
~Jeremiah 10:10, 12-13

WFW is not about books, authors, artists…it’s about God and HIS WORD ONLY. WFW is about celebrating the gift of creativity through God’s Word through creative graphic illustrations. Link up your own pictures and passages here.

And, of course, a special hello to everyone visiting from iFellowship!
What a powerful word!! Loved the picture to go with it.
Have a blessed day!
Awesomely beautiful.
Awesome pic and quote! Having been raised in a non-Christian home but wanting to be sure my kids are, I am looking constantly for practical examples to connect the Word to life. God’s Word is ALIVE, and I love to see examples like this so I can make God seem real and alive to my kids. We went driving around to look at rainbows about a week ago so I could capitalize on the teachable moments. I am learning with my kids just how real God is and how relevant his word is. It’s beautiful. Your maturity in your walk will help me to learn as well, so thank you for sharing examples like these 🙂
What an amazing pic to go with the verse! Praising God for His awesomeness!
This is an amazing picture!
As a fellow Pastor’s wife I appreciate when we can bring God’s word to life – to make it so much more than “words on a page”.
I’m here from iFellowship, but I enjoy visiting your blog no matter what day it is!
Enjoy your evening!
