When Migraines Attack

Um…It is May.  May!  How did that happen?  Where did April go?

.

My apologies for being incommunicado for the past (almost) 2 weeks.  While I do tend to drop in and out of the blogosphere radar at random intervals, this most recent disappearing act was definitely not planned.   I was attacked by a monster migraine, which, when all was said and done, lasted for 5 days.  Not fun.

.

That was 2 weeks ago.  My schedule, my plans, my menu, my chores, my blog…all flew right out the window as I curled up in bed, and tried to avoid anything and everything involving light, sound, or movement for the better part of a week.

.

So, this week, in addition to being an already busy, out-every-night type of week, I’ve also been trying to catch up on the laundry, grocery shopping, cleaning, cooking…and basically, everything that I neglected while my head was throbbing.

.

But, now, the pain has subsided, the chaos in the house has been somewhat tamed, and the calendar is looking a little less full.  So, I hope to be back to blogging with some semblance of regularity soon!

  1. Just stumbled across your blog and this post. I know what it’s like to have a migraine for 5 days; life stops! However, it does quiet the heart to know that God still works on our behalf even when we are all curled up and out of order. I will be thinking about you in prayer from now on. Petra

    1. @Petra Thank you!! 🙂
