It is 8:30 a.m. and Hannah is still in bed! I know, some parents out there are probably wondering what the big deal is…But, this is completely out of the ordinary for my early riser! She is usually up and ready to play by 6:30…if not earlier! And, with the recent time change, I was just sure I was in for at least a few even earlier mornings as she made the adjustment! Some extra quiet time this morning is certainly welcome, especially since I do not foresee this becoming a regular occurrence! My guess is that her extra sleep has a little something to do with all the fun we had last night!!Â
We spent the evening with our dear friends Doug, Erin, McKenzie, and Logan. Â
Hannah loved playing with McKenzie! 
 Even though there is a 2 ½ year age difference, they got along amazingly well!! McKenzie was such a great little hostess and playmate, and kept Hannah entertained all night. She sat with her at dinner, and afterward, she graciously shared her dolls, stickers, and dress-up clothes.  The girls giggled, and ran up and down the stairs until the moment we left! Although she was exhausted, Hannah talked about “Miss Kenzie†all the way home! She finally climbed into bed at about 10:00…I think she is making up for it this morning!
We had a great time too…just talking.  We are extremely blessed to have such wonderful, like-minded friends! It was such an encouraging eveing…Â
