That is what we have been up to these last few days…and today especially!
One of my favorite family traditions: On Friday evening we went looking at Christmas Lights!
We spent Saturday afternoon putting together Hannah’s “big†present…a new kitchen! Although our original plan was to wait until Christmas Eve to put the whole thing together, we decided against that plan when we discovered that this thing had about a thousand tiny plastic pieces! (And, no, I am not exaggerating!) We had fun trying to figure out the directions…and it did take us until Christmas Eve to get it together! But, thankfully, we left the all-nighters back in college!
On Christmas Eve, we spent the eveing with my parents, and “Auntie†Carole. We played games, and had a wonderful dinner together.
Christmas morning…There truly is nothing like seeing your child’s face light up on Christmas morning. (I love being a mom!) Last year, Hannah was too little to really understand “presents.â€Â And, although that isn’t what this day/season is all about, it was so fun to see her enjoying enjoying the day.Â
It has been a wonderful Christmas! Check out all of the fun by clicking here!
Merry Christmas!!
