“In this circle of friends we have one Father,
In a circle of friends we share this prayer,
That we’ll gather together no matter how the highway bends,
I will not lose this circle of friends.â€
~Point of Grace
It isn’t often that you find a friend who is so like-minded that time and distance do practically nothing to alter the depth of the relationship. This weekend, we had the opportunity to spend time with 2 such friends.Â
My dear friend Natalie, and her husband, Ashish were in town visiting her brother at college. Their schedule was packed, and I am so thankful that we were able to work out some time to see one another (short as it was!). She is a true “kindred spirit,†and even after being separated by an ocean and half a continent for 3 years, we could still finish each other’s sentences!!
Â
Bryan, one of Jason’s college roommates, came down from Northern California for a wedding, and stayed with us Saturday night.  I don’t know how long they stayed up talking on Saturday night, but we also spent most of Sunday afternoon catching up as well!
This weekend was a wonderful chance to catch up with our friends, and be encouraged by the on-going relationships that the Lord has blessed us with.
(Unfortunately, the pictures are extremely old…we were so caught up in conversation during our short time this weekend, that I forgot to get any new ones!!)
