Hannah and I both had to have blood tests done today, and came out with matching boo-boos. Hannah was a little trooper – she cried, but watched the whole thing! She managed a smile and a rather tearful “all done!†when it was over, and even waved good-bye to the nurse who had done the tests, but refused the stickers that she was offered with a very decided shake of her head. Hopefully her test results will be good and this won’t have to be repeated very often! (This was just a routine blood test for lead and anemia from her 1-year check-up – no cause for alarm!)
Update: Hannah’s test results came back that she is slightly anemic – so she will have to start taking iron supplements, and will be re-tested in a month!
